Same Dress. 30 Days. Day 10 or "Bonjour!"

Bonjour! This is my "Parisian" themed outfit! I decided that the best way to come up with outfit ideas is to decide on a theme (I'm SUCH a sorority gal at heart! I love a good excuse to dress up with a theme!)---yesterday was purple, today--Paris! I have previously mentioned that my sister and I traveled to Europe a few Summers ago and my favorite city that we visited was...PARIS! We planned to go to Paris a few months before we actually ended up going, but our travel plans were delayed because of the Volcanic eruption in Iceland in 2010. Such a bummer, but it ended up on a positive note because we were able to use our tickets that Summer. Before the volcano actually erupted and caused such a disastrous mess, I was SO EXCITED to visit Paris--duh! So, my sweet, sweet, wonderful TA and cheerleader, Sarah Danielle Buckley indulged me in a few choice Paris themed items for my Christmas present that year....the best part of the volcanic disaster was when my students asked me, "Miss Davis, if the airlines are shutting down because of the volcano, why don't you just DRIVE to Paris?" Ahhhh, mon cherie, clearly I have bigger fish to fry than worrying about not being able to go to Paris. Oui?

(nothing like an uber Euro moustache, right?? I'm such a hipster. haha)
1. I dug out my AWESOME red beret from the deep, dark, depths of my accessories closet (that's right, folks, you heard me correctly--a closet dedicated to accessories. I TOLD you I have a problem!) The tag says that it is "Merona" brand, which if my shopping skills are correct, means that it is from Target! Love it! (Sidenote: interestingly enough, whilst in Paris, I did not actually see anyone wearing a beret....hmmmmm)
2. This Eiffel Tower half-shirt is from Forever 21 (see, Sarah has the same taste as I do!) If you look closely, the red detailing is of a ballerina. Ahhh Paris! (like the beret, never saw a ballerina...hmmm) And over THAT, I wore.....a belt! Gosh, I wear a LOT of belts! Such a great accessory. It creates definition between the shirt and the skirt (aka Dress)
3. My "Pretty Woman" boots. The only thing wrong with these boots, in my opinion, is that they do not go OTK (Over-The-Knee)---I never can decide if I think that OTK boots are trashy or fabulous...I'm going to go with FABULOUSSSSS!!!! I adore these boots; they are from Forever 21 (jeeeez) and the answer to your burning question is "no, my legs are not THAT white"... I wore them with my white tights to tie in the white belt! Someone asked me where I even found white tights and I could not remember because I bought these so long ago. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that they are probably from...wait for it....Forever 21 or Target---that seems to be a trend with my fashion choices.
J'ador this outfit! Themes are so fun! And, turns out that Sarah Buckley was a sorority gal in training---picking out this outfit was just practice for what she is doing now at Chapman University in her own sorority! (Love you, La Sarah)
Thank you for reading, people at work are starting to notice and a coworker asked me today if I just went shopping and got a bunch of new stuff---I LOVE THAT! That is affirmation that I am doing what I set out to do, which was to wear my clothes in a new, unique, and cute way each day! Yahoo!
P.S. Goodnight Adrian! (seeeee, I told you I would give you a shout out!)
