So, my Etna trip has sadly come to an end....(sad face)....this time it is bittersweet that I am leaving because I am going to see Renee in about one month when we meet up for our annual "Best Friends San Francisco Weekend Extravaganza" in February! Yay! BUT, Etna is truly a magical place--full of gentlemen, pick-ups, dirt roads, and most importantly---the Johnson Family---so, understandably I miss it when I am gone. We HAVE hatched a plan for this summer in which I will be coming back and visiting for a few weeks---I can't wait! Until then, I will have to exist on my last memories from today. Here's what happened...and here's what I wore :)
***We left late for the airport---yes, late, as though we haven't made this drive what seems like a million times---such irresponsible girls we are, and I literally checked in for my flight TWO MINUTES before the cut-off. THEN I had to get patted down in security because of my bedazzled socks. HAHAHAH....I guess fashion comes with a price, right? Luckily I made it onto my flight (just barely---I was the LAST passenger to board! Yes, I was THAT person....yikes!) So, here's what I wore to ALMOST miss my flight :)
1. When I travel, I try not to take too many pairs of shoes, so on this trip I took my awesome boots (see below) and my Adidas sneakers (which I wore to the branding yesterday!)
3. As pants I wore my "Agave" Denim (thanks Denim Guy!) that have cute little zippers at the ankles---they're there, you just can't see them under my AWESOME boots!
4. I attempt to travel "light", so my empathy "belly" (aka my awesome Swiss brand backpack) is all that I bring whenever I travel to Etna. The best thing about going to visit a BFF who is ABOUT the same size in clothes is that I never have to worry about something that I might have forgotten, because I can just BORROW!!!! (the same goes for toiletries! Go visit BFF's, then you don't have to worry about the damn 3OZ rule!) Also---CHECK OUT MY BFF! What a HOT MAMA!!!!!
***I thought it fitting to include mine and Renee's text convo that took place after I found out that I was going to make it onto my flight! We both remained calm, even as Renee was driving like a Speed Demon on the 5 between Etna and Medford! My fingernail polish is completely gone from my nails because I was biting my nails out of nervousness! Eeek!***

What a fun weekend....now we're back to the fun fashion---I don't have to dress for function like I do in the country. This City Girl is back and ready to be Fabulously Ridiculous this week!
